A museum ticket marked with a curious symbol leads you to the M. B. Franklin Museum of Natural History to investigate six keys, six exhibits, and one strange lock.

You must explore each exhibit and solve the clues to pair the right keys with the right locks. Completing this puzzle will reveal the location of an ancient treasure within the museum.

The Custodian's Keys represents the first chapter in the CCC saga.

Audience

Chapter 1 is recommended for 14+; younger players may require guidance from an adult. Designed to be played either solo or collaboratively, each episode is a perfect activity for date night, families, friends, or even learning groups.

We currently have lesson plans to accompany each of the first three episodes; if you are planning to use The CCC's adventures as part of your curriculum, either home/remote schooling or in the classroom, please feel free to get in touch and we are happy to share these with you!)

Length

Chapter 1 takes an average of 60-90 minutes to solve, though players can work through them at their own pace.

Difficulty

Chapter 1, and each subsequent Chapter of Curious Correspondence, is supported by a dedicated digital hint library, allowing you to choose how many additional clues you receive. From subtle nudges all the way to complete solutions for each puzzle, it's up to you to choose your level of difficulty.
